  1. Auguri! you found the sketchbook! I was in Toscana a few weeks ago, and I actually thought of you! I got off the train in Lucca to go to my artist retreat at the same time that all of the attendees were leaving Lucca Comics. I was wondering if you were in the massive crowd. It was pouring rain. Note to self-don’t go to Lucca during Lucca Comics! Ciao, Cristina

    1. Wow, no, not me, I haven’t been to Lucca – looking at the pictures online it does seem insanely crowded!
      Couldn’t believe I found the sketchbooks – the only pity is the price. But I have enough for another year or two, hoorah.

      1. Only crowded for the event, otherwise it is a very pleasant medieval walled town. You can ride a bike on top of the walls! I think you need to contact the sketchbook factory outside of Firenze😎
